On Dogs

Hello, Citizens of Funk World!

As always, I hope you’re having a great day, and I hope your pets are too! Although, the latter’s a hard thing to know, since most people don’t understand what their pets are trying to say. Take my dog, River, for example.

Whenever she starts barking, it’s a struggle to understand what she wants. Does she want to go outside? Does she want food or water? Is she barking at Rey or Otto, the fierce, intimidating dogs next door?

Is there someone outside our house? IS SHE JUST BARKING FOR ITS OWN SAKE?

You can see clearly that figuring out what a dog (or any pet, for that matter) wants is a definite struggle. Speaking of dogs, I hope you enjoy today’s comic, fresh from this year’s Comic Book in a Day contest!
